Birth and Postpartum Doula

She/Her

Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s most profound transitions—beautiful, emotional, and often overwhelming. As a mother of two young children, Rachel understands firsthand the mix of joy, anticipation, and uncertainty that accompanies this journey. Her lived experience, combined with her professional training, fuels her passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Rachel is a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator dedicated to guiding families with compassion, evidence-based knowledge, and unwavering support. She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education and brings a rich background as a teacher to her work. Having witnessed the transformative power of education, she believes deeply in helping families make informed, confident decisions throughout pregnancy and birth.

Her approach to childbirth education is inclusive, comprehensive, and grounded in current research. She creates a supportive learning environment where expectant parents feel prepared, empowered, and confident as they navigate their unique birth experience.

As a birth doula, Rachel provides steady, nurturing support throughout labor and delivery. She offers comfort measures, evidence-based information, advocacy, and a calming presence, helping families feel safe, supported, and connected to their own strength as they welcome their baby into the world.

Her support continues well beyond birth. During the postpartum period, Rachel walks alongside families as they adjust to life with a newborn. Whether offering breastfeeding support, newborn care guidance, or simply a compassionate listening ear, she is committed to helping parents feel grounded, cared for, and confident during this tender transition.
