Dena has over 20 years of experience in women’s health, including working as a nurse in the hospital setting in the labor and delivery unit and mother and baby postpartum unit. She also managed a family birth center and worked in hospice as well. Dena's main goal is to empower moms and families during the birth to newborn transition and beyond. When not supporting new families, Dena’s likely running marathons and ultramarathons, cooking and baking, traveling, or spending time with her family.
