Pooka has always been drawn to working intimately with others — to channel and share her gifts of empathy, strength, and calm. She supports clients to be their advocate, cheerleader, and resource. In 2018, her existence was transformed by the birth of her nephew, Beau. It was an honor to join her sister in that sacred space; to witness her strength and love; and to experience a mother’s first embrace. Since then, she’s been fascinated with empowering others through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Outside of being a doula, she loves gardening, live music, paddle-boarding, kayaking, experiencing nature, and spending time with her partner and their fur babies.
