Infant Feeding Support
Recommending trusted local IBCLCs to support your feeding journey.
Expert support for feeding questions, challenges, and changing needs.
Side-by-side care with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) can provide gentle, personalized guidance during pregnancy and postpartum—whether in your home, in an office, or virtually.
IBCLCs can help you prepare prenatally, navigate feeding challenges, and make informed decisions about what works best for you and your baby.
Our Preferred IBCLC Partners
Sanctuary partners with a trusted network of IBCLCs across Colorado. Based on your location and feeding needs, our team can recommend providers in your area and share their booking information.
Insurance Coverage & Billing
Breastfeeding and lactation support is frequently covered by health insurance. Many of our preferred IBCLC partners process billing through third-party coverage networks, such as The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health, or accept specific insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan and provider. The IBCLC you contact can explain their billing process and help you determine whether your visit may be covered.
Weekly Infant Feeding Support at Milk Cafe
Sanctuary CARES, our nonprofit affiliate, offers Milk Cafe, a free, IBCLC-led infant-feeding support group where parents can receive trusted guidance, ask questions, and connect with other families. All feeding methods are welcome, including breast/chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, and formula feeding.
Join us every Wednesday from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM at Boulder Birth & Holistic Health.
