Infant Feeding Support
We support all feeding journeys, so no matter if you’re facing breastfeeding challenges, want support around pumping, or are trying to work out the appropriate amount of intake for your little one - newborn to toddlers - our skilled team of infant feeding specialists are here to support you. Our team of IBCLCs (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants) can educate on the physiology of newborns and feeding, breastfeeding supply and latch, treatment options for clogged ducts and mastitis, and more.
Side by side support with an infant feeding specialist in the comfort of your home allows for a gentle, spontaneous sharing of wisdom and insight about feeding your baby. When your baby is ready to feed, you both will explore the norms and physiology of newborns and feeding. Research shows that in-home support increases new mother’s confidence while reducing their stress and expectations around feeding. We also offer virtual visits. Care can be accessed anytime during pregnancy and postpartum.

Insurance
We can usually provide 6 fully covered in-home IBCLC visits for following plans: Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, and Cigna PPO. We partner with The Lactation Network that takes care of all of the billing, checking coverage, etc. Click below to check your coverage, and know no matter if approved or not, we’re here to support you! See below for out-of-pocket rates. Please note that while these visits are covered by insurance, there may be a service fee of $50 if you're outside our primary service area.

Virtual 90min IBCLC visit - $200
In-person 90min IBCLC initial visit - $250

Admin Fee: Please note that a 4% service fee is added to all services at the time of purchase.
Travel Fee: We serve clients outside of the Boulder and North Denver metro area on a case by case basis. Text or call us at 720-828-2802 to learn more.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the start time, you’ll be charged 50% of the appointment fee. Exceptions will be honored for birth, illness, weather, dangerous driving conditions or emergency. No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment fee. If you’re scheduling a massage past 37 weeks, please add us to your labor call list so that we can pass along the time to someone else who needs it. Thanks so much for honoring our policy!
Milk Cafe - In-Person Support Group
Please join us for a FREE, drop-in group on Wednesdays from 10:30a-12:00p at the Birth Center of Boulder’s classroom located at 2800 Folsom Rd., Boulder, CO, 80304. Masks are required. Come as you are, all parents feeding their little ones are welcome. Donations welcome (via cash or Venmo below), although not required.
